Online mediation can be a cost-effective way to settle differences between parties since costly travel time and expenses can be avoided.  Neutral locations do not need to be rented, and parties who may be physically challenged in attending can often participate.  Each party is responsible for their own expenses incurred in participating in the online mediation process such as having accessibility to a computer, the software necessary, technical know-how and advocate fees if any.  The mediation fee is usually split equally among the parties.  The fee for technically mediated dispute resolution is comparable to in-person rates.  A non-refundable deposit of $250 will be required upon reserving a specific date and time for the alternative dispute resolution session.  PayPal is the method used for online payment of services.  This allows flexibility for clients in arranging for payment.
